THIS IS A GAME CHANGER FOR THE CREATIVE INDUSTRY.

We are taking the most sought after creative companies and building a Creative Residency for talent with diverse perspectives. For the first time, companies will work together to foster the next generation of creators, makers and culture shapers.

WHAT IS ROTATE?

 

ROTATE is a paid residency program open to any creative thinker. (We are currently running rotations out of New York, but don’t worry, we’ll expand the residency to other states, this is just the beginning.)

Six talented individuals will get an opportunity to gain experience working at the industry’s top creative companies. The residents will be split into groups and spend three months at one company and then rotate to the next.

All residents will be provided: a salary, a computer, a mentor at each company, legit project(s) to work on, healthcare benefits and much more.

  • Step 1: Apply

    If you are a creative thinker and are interested in becoming a Rotate Resident, then review the qualifications, fill out the application on this website and submit. It’s as easy as that.

  • Step 2: Rotate

    Residents are split into groups and placed at one of the companies for three months before rotating onto the next. At each company, Residents are paired with a mentor, work on real projects and attend curated speaker series.

  • Step 3: Placement

    The placement is meant to serve both the Residents and the companies. Both Residents and companies will have the opportunity to opt into placements at the end of the program.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Creative thinkers. Period. We’re looking for content creators, storytellers, designers, art directors, writers and culture shapers. Have a formal education? Great! Don’t have a formal education? Great! We care most about 3 things: 1) the ideas floating around in your brain 2) your unique POV and perspective and 3) how you creatively express your original thoughts to the world. Below are some more examples of what we mean.

Social Creators.

You create the conversations that create culture. The stories you tell captivate your audience - making them laugh, or cry or feel seen and understood - motivating them to want to share that feeling with others.

Visual Artists.

You turn thoughts into pictures. Napkin doodles into posters, paintings, tattoos, graffiti, motion graphics, animation and films. You show instead of tell and that’s what sets you apart from others.

Writers.

You paint with words and give ideas a voice. You weave letters into novels, poems, short stories, headlines, body copy screenplays, and articles. You know what to say and how it should be said.

 

Thinkers.

You always see the bigger picture. You’re always ten steps ahead of the pack. You ask questions that others wish they thought to ask. You’re the driver behind insights-driven knowledge. Think about it.

Organizers.

You always have a plan and a backup plan for the backup plan. You create order out of chaos and get things done on time, every time. You live in details. You breathe schedules. You hear “can’t” and think “can”.

Innovators.

You make the impossible possible. You’re a natural problem solver and failure is your playground. You build ideas only to break them so you can rebuild them again into something no one thought possible.
